Team IKE (Ian, Kara & Elizabeth) got together for a big outing. Cooling off on a 2,500 foot hike up to reach Kearsarge Pass

The real objective Charlotte dome is still 9 miles in the distance. You can just see the tip of it over Ian’s right shoulder.

We camped at Charlotte Lake

The following morning we set out at 7am and had our 1^st close up view of Charlotte Dome an hour later.
